We do love charity gigs, it’s great music mixed with helping a cause, it’s really a perfect combo in our eyes.
Today we have been told the information on a charity gig for Love Haiti, a group raising funds for Haiti and will be going over to help rebuild the earthquake struck country. It’s a great cause and the people running the event will actually be the ones going over with the charity Haven to to this.
The gig is on Thursday 13th October and tickets are €15 and can be procured early by grabbing them at the WAV box office. You can turn up on the night but Whelans is a small venue, with this lineup we can tell you it’s not worth risking.
We have been told we cannot tell you the lineup, but we have been told who is playing and if you are a fan of Irish singer songwriters then this could be the gig you NEED to be at. There is a picture below supplied by the Love Haiti girls and we can tell you the shadowed out characters are four individuals and not just one band. Each silhouette is a hint to who is playing on the night.
Some might say they are the usual suspects. In our opinion each would easily fill Whelans alone. So take a look at the pic below (click to enlarge). Comment and let us know who you think it is that is going to be playing on the night.
