Tolu Makay’s amazing cover of N17 is finally available on all streaming platforms.  The Plec Pick 2021 act took the nation by storm with her unforgettable performance of the Saw Doctor’s hit when she performed it on the RTE’s NYE Countdown programme with the RTE Concert Orchestra.

“Learning N17 by the Saw Doctors and singing the lyrics to the arrangement by Gavin Murphy really resonated with me. I felt every word I sang because it rang true! I went to university in Galway, and I was taught in prefabs! And not seeing my family for a whole year was tough, and I’m sure the whole world understood what that felt like over the holiday season”.
