Katie KimAn event they are describing as mega-big-time-party-extravaganza, The Workman’s Club are aiming to turn the remainder of the work week after the August bank holiday weekend into a bit of fun. Turning those frowns upside down, they have FREE entertainment planned for Thursday 9th through to Sunday 12th August.

Thursday has comedy duo Totally Wired and an exhibition by Shane O’Donaghue called Misnomer up on the first floor. Friday brings some music with Katie Kim and Last Days of 1984, with more to be announced. Ed Smith will be upstairs DJing from 10pm. Saturday will have  amarket on The Terrace, Feral Foods will be in as will The Picture Rooms, home made cakes by Mary O’Reilly, Aideen Rafferty will be selling clothes and Ciaran Savage selling his rare and collectible music.
