The Ting Tings are on that difficult second album. The first album ‘We Started Nothing’ shot them to massive worldwide fame, radio and TV airtime by the bucketload and confirmed for every festival under the sun. It only sold around two million copies and four million singles and an Ivor Novello award for Best Album.
So I say difficult because that’s only half of the stuff they achieved with that album and now they have the task of achieving even near as much with the second album. The new LP dropped in February and is called ‘Sounds From Nowheresville’.
As they go out to promote this album they will be in Dublin to play The Academy on June 20th 2012. Tickets for the show are €21 inclusive of booking fee and tickets will be on sale Friday April 27th at 9am.
