The Scratch are heading off on a cycle from Dublin to Ballyshannon to raise money for MASI and specifically for the children born into and living in Direct Provision to be able to get adequate equipment to go to school.

So far they’ve raised over €3000 and you can still donate here!

Inspired by the video for their track ‘The Road To Ballyshannon‘, the journey starts today and goes until Sunday. You can join the legends on their journey over on their Instagram page where they’re documenting the trip with hilarious IGTV vlogs.

The band explain their decision by saying “With the recent global pandemic and the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement, we’ve decided to set ourselves a Summer goal to raise money for MASI to aid in the fight for the rights of the asylum seekers in this country by cycling from Dublin to Ballyshannon.
