The Scratch have shared details surrounding the release of their new album ‘Pull Like A Dog’ their first major release since the arrival of new guitarist Gary “Gaz” Regan. “As a band, this feels like a new beginning,” says Conor (guitar, backing vocals). “I think the changes we’ve faced have given us a lot of room to grow, maybe into roles we felt were off limits before. Openness, perseverance, and positivity – this album embodies all of that.

The 10-track collection is set for release on March 13th 2026 via Sony Music Ireland (Pre-order HERE) and features the album’s lead single and title track Pull Like A Dog.

It’s about tossing aside the idea of apologising for merely existing or hoping that if I keep colouring inside the lines I’ll get what I think I deserve” Daniel Lang (Lango – vocals, cajon) notes. “Mocking myself a bit but also getting the blood going so I’ll grab life by the scruff and be loud about it.

The video for ‘Pull Like A Dog’ is a collaboration between the band and noted Dublin-based videographer Paul Gleeson. Filmed on the shores of Lough Ree (Shannon, Ireland) it allows the band’s madcap personality to shine through having the craic and blowing off a bit of steam.

Recently, The Scratch have supported Dropkick Murphys across the US and appeared on their latest album For The People, as well as supporting Dermot Kennedy in Australia, and The Wolfe Tones in the UK.

The band will embark on a tour across Europe this month before returning to Ireland to see out the year with a string of intimate shows. The Scratch have a busy 2026 ahead with international tour dates locked in across the UK, the US, and Canada – for full tour information see below or visit HERE.
