Having recently been announced as appearing at the Liam Gallagher Weekender in Malta, The Mary Wallopers have been announced as support for the Mancunian legend a little closer to home. Louth’s finest will open for the ex-Oasis frontman in Thomond Park, Limerick this summer as part of Gallagher’s ‘Definitely Maybe 30 Years’ tour.The group finished up a successful 2023 with a joyful performance on Jools Holland’s New Year’s Eve Hootenanny BBC TV special.

As well as performing Oasis’s seminal 19994 debut, Gallagher will also play select b-sides from the era. Liam says, “I’m bouncing around the house to announce the Definitely Maybe Tour. The most important album of the ‘90s bar none. I wouldn’t be anywhere without it and neither would you, so let’s celebrate together LG x”

Gallagher who is currently riding high in the charts thanks to his collaborative project with The Stone Roses’ John Squire plays Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on March 16th. Gallagher will return to Dublin for two night in the 3Arena this June 23-24th, before returning to Ireland to perform in Thomand Park, Limerick on July 14th with support from The Mary Wallopers.
