For the months of July and August The King Kong Club is recruiting bands to compete for the prize to play the OxJam tent at Electric Picnic. Each week they have six bands play three songs each, with the winners progressing. It is free for bands to enter the competition, but they must sign up via the King Kong website in advance to register.
OxJam is any music event held for Oxfam, culminating in the OxJam Music Festival when as many events as possible are squeezed into the month of October right across Ireland and the UK.
