The Killers have been confirmed as the Sunday night headliner at next year’s Electric Picnic. The Las Vegas rockers have also announced a show in Belfast’s Boucher Road Playing Fields. Brandon Flowers and co will be joined in Belfast by the legendary Johnny Marr.

The Killers breakthrough debut Hot Fuss arrived in 2004 featuring the seminal single Mr. Brightside. The group have gone onto release 7 albums and have previewed their 8th with the releae of the single ‘Boy’ earlier this year. The as yet unnamed album is set to arrive prior to The Killers’ Irish dates next September.
