Five piece (sometimes seven piece) Belfast based The Jane Bradfords are nearly ready to unleash their brand new album of heartfelt songs, warm melodies and melancholy soundtrack which they are hoping will put them firmly on the map in 2012.
The album is called ‘100 Miles Of Broken Pavement’ and will be released into the wild world on February 13th 2012. Having supported the likes of The National, LCD Soundsystem, Deerhunter, Cold War Kids and Peter, Bjorn and John amongst others, it’s time for them to step out from behind the cloak of their genre sharing stars and make it as the headline act.
This album is the follow up to their 2008 self titled debut LP which ours friends at AU named as one of the top ten Irish albums of that decade. Their music has already been heavily featured in adverts for BT, Harp Lager, The Mentalist and Grey’s Anatomy and was featured on Liverpool FC tv and Hollyoaks too.
