Dublin is et to get a flavour of The Great Escape in 2020 with the announcement of The Road To The Great Escape, a brand new live music showcase.

The Road To The Great Escape will come to Dublin and Glasgow in the days leading up to The Great Escape Festival and Conference in Brighton. With the two-day event taking place in multiple venues across Dublin on 11-12 May 2020, up to 30 emerging artists spanning a vast array of genres will perform before they make their way to the English South coast for The Great Escape itself, which takes place from 13-16 May 2020.

“Glasgow and Dublin are hotbeds for new music, and we are delighted to reflect this at The Road To The Great Escape. We are incredibly excited by the range of acts we’ve selected and can’t wait to share the line-up. This is one not to be missed,” says Rory Bett, CEO MAMA Festivals.

“We’ve wanted to do this for a few years now, so we’re delighted it’s finally happening… Dublin is a hotbed for new music and we can’t wait to showcase the best up and coming talent across the two days. When you see the likes of Adele, Hozier, Foals, Stormzy, Sigrid and The 1975 on previous Great Escape Festivals, it makes us very excited about the future potential of our line-up this year. The two-day ticket will get you access to all venues across the festival and it will be a great way to discover new music.” says Jack Price, of MCD.

The Road To The Great Escape will showcase new and upcoming artists from across the Globe with the line-up being announced in January 2020.

The Road To The Great Escape will take place across multiple venues on the 11th & 12th May 2020 with two-day tickets €17.45 on sale January 2020
