The glue of Irish hip hop God Knows is back with another unified south-west rap extravaganza ‘Mup I Said’ featuring Hazey Haze.

“Mup I Said (“come up, I said”) is a call to action.” explains God Knows. “It’s an observation of how things change as time moves forward. Some of the people that I started this journey with have settled down and discovered new dreams, some have deferred them, some like myself and my peers are still on job. Mup means ‘it’s not over til it’s over’. Don’t give up on yourself. Come up.”

The video for ‘Mup I Said’ directed by Stephen Hall, features a host of south-west hip hop figures including the newly crowned most exciting act in Ireland Denise Chaila (didn’t need know list to point that out, did we) with a starring role for Tobi Omoteso who showcases his incredible breakdancing skills and physical dexterity throughout.

‘Mup I Said’ is taking from God Knows’ ‘Who’s Asking? EP Vol II’, which is available exclusively on Bandcamp via Fly High Society. God Knows will appear on episode 6 of Live From Guerrilla Studios on Thursday September 17th with all PayPal donations made on the day going to MASI (Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland).
