English post-punk band The Chameleons play Whelan’s this November. Formed in 1981, they were picked up on by John Peel and included in one of his famed ‘Festive Fifty’ compilations, before breaking up after their ‘Strange Times’ album in ’86
The year 2000 saw a reformation and a new acoustic album entitled ‘Strip’, which was followed by two more albums in 2001 and 2002.
