Noughties Irish rockers The Brothers Movement are reforming to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their self-titled debut album in The Workman’s Club this December.

Formed from the ashes of one of Ireland’s most popular bands of the day Mainline, The Brothers Movement featured Daniel Paxton, Neil Paxton, Conor Paxton and three life-long friends Andy Parkes, Derick O’Neill, Scott Glennon.

Despite only being together for 3 years the sextet toured the UK, Eu and USA under their own steam and opened for the likes of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Doves.

Members of The Brothers Movement went on to form House of Dolls, Sweet Jane and Buffalo Sunn.

Support for this “once-off” reformation show comes from psychedelic indie-rockers Birds of Olympus and Dublin shoegaze outfit Galants.

The Brothers Movement are promising a trip down memory lane with the prospect of some special guests and even some detours through their various back catalogues.

The Brothers Movement play The Workman’s Club, Dublin on Friday 20th December. Tickets €10 (+booking fee) on sale here.
