New Zealand indie rock quartet The Beths are set to return to Ireland for a show in The Workman’s Club, Dublin next April. The Auckland act won a cult following with their 2018 debut album ‘Future Me Hates Me’ and toured Europe with Death Cab For Cutie including an appearance at The Olympia Theatre. They also found time for a show of their own in The Grand Social while they were in Ireland.

The act lead by Elizabeth Stokes are building up to the release of their second LP ‘Jump Rope Gazers’ which they have previewed with the singles Out Of Sight, I’m Not Getting Excited and Dying to Believe.

‘Jump Rope Gazers’ grapples with the uneasy proposition of leaving everything and everyone you know behind on another continent, chasing your dreams while struggling to stay close with loved ones back home. “If you’re at a certain age, all your friends scatter to the four winds,” Stokes says. “We did the same thing. When you’re home, you miss everybody, and when you’re away, you miss everybody. We were just missing people all the time.

The Beths makes their highly anticipated return for a headline show in Dublin in The Workman’s Club, 3rd April 2021. Tickets €16 (here) on sale Friday, 19th June 2020 at 2PM.
