Mullingar’s finest indie rock band The Academic have announced their return to Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre this October. The Westmeath out fit will perform songs from their two globally successful albums Tales From The Backseat (2018) and Sitting Pretty (2023) and a glimpse into the next iteration of the band including 2024 single Easy On The Eyes.

Reflecting on their journey, vocalist Craig Fitzgerald notes the band’s growth, stating, “We’re different people now but that’s natural. We are still as ambitious as we have ever been, and we feel that our best work is yet to come. We are very excited for what is to come in 2025.”
