Seattle’s SYML – pronounced “simmel” and meaning “simple” in Welsh is a moniker which reflects Brian Fennell’s personal heritage.

The musician only discovered that he was adopted at 18, setting him on a journey to discover his origins. SYML is the perfect name for Fennell’s predominantly sparse, atmospheric piano led compositions which have garnered him over 200 million plays on Spotify since 2016.

SYML’s self-titled debut album featuring new single Wildfire is out May 3rd.
