Northern Ireland’s Swimming Tapes have shared Pyrenees the first single from their debut album ‘Morningside’ out May 24th.

Swimming Tapes are comprised of Louis Price, Robbie Reid, Paddy Conn and Jason Hawthorne from Northern Ireland and drummer Andrew Evans, who the four friends met when they relocated to London.

Swimming Tapes have released two EPs to date, gaining celebrity DJ fans such as Annie Mac and Huw Stephens. They even received a spin from some lad called Elton John on Beats One.

2018 saw Swimming Tapes sign a deal with Sub Pop Publishing and commence work on their debut album ‘Morningside’ with Paddy Baird (Kowalski, Two Door Cinema Club, Warm Digits) in their favourite space in Haggerston, East London.

‘Morningside’ was mixed by Tom Schick (Wilco, Nora Jones, Glen Hansard) at Wilco’s Chicago studio ‘The Loft’.

Swimming Tapes will bring ‘Morningside’ to Whelan’s for an intimate show upstairs on April 5th. Tickets €13.00.
