Urban festivals are the new thing and jumping on that bandwagon are Summer Sessions 2012 who will play host to some top local and international acts on the May bank holiday weekend.
The event will be held on the stunning grounds of the Iveagh Garden and will kick off on Friday 4th May with Sharon Shannon, Paddy Casey, The High Kings and more to be announced. Saturday gets tasty with The Riptide Movement, Stereo MC’s, Simon and Oscar from Ocean Colour Scene and Razorlight all playing.
Then the festival closes out on Sunday with 80s rock covers supergroup Spring Break, The Undertones, The Stranglers and Human League. There are many more acts to be announced.
Tickets for Friday cost €39.50, with tickets for Saturday and Sunday costing €49.90 each. A full weekend pass costs €119. Tickets can be procured from Ticketgroup.
