Spider Stacy and The Pogues have announced special guests for their 40th Anniversary Performance of Red Roses For Me in Dublin’s 3Arena this December. The line-up will now include guest appearances from many top names in contemporary Irish music including Ian and Daragh Lynch from (Lankum), Grian Chatten and Tom Coll (Fontaines D.C.), John Francis Flynn, Junior Brother and Kojaque.
Also joining the stacked bill on the night are Nadine Shah, Iona Zajac and Stick In The Wheel with more special guests to be announced. This varied cast of players will join the previously confirmed appearances from Goat Girl’s Holly Mullineaux, Alfie’s Fiachra Meek, Bad Seeds Jim Sclavunos and George Vjestica, Pretender and Pogue James Walbourne, Jordan O’Leary from The Scratch and Pogues founding members Jem Finer and James Fearnley.

To celebrate its 40th anniversary on the 15th October, The Pogues debut album ‘Red Roses For Me’ is to be reissued on two brand new formats: recycled red vinyl containing the 2013 remix of the album and a double-CD set, including the album and and a bonus disc of B-sides and the band’s BBC sessions from 1984.
These anniversary formats will be released on 18th October and are available to pre-order here.
