Saturday October 2nd will see a tribute night to one of the most well known music promoters and managers in Ireland, Derek Nally.

Derek sadly passed away on the 15th July 2010 and it sent a huge shockwave throughout the Irish music community who mourned his passing, leaving a long legacy of top acts he worked with or managed including Arlo Guthrie, John Cooper Clarke, Juliet Turner and Ham Sandwich.

Some of Dereks friend will gather in Vicar Street for a musical tribute to the man himself for a show entitled ‘Songs for Derek‘ and artists confirmed are Howe Gelb, Bell X1 (acoustic), Mundy, Richie Egan, David Kitt, The Walls, Freddie White, Tír na nÓg and James Vincent McMorrow.

Tickets will be €20 and on sale today at 9am. All proceeds wil lbe donated to Dereks family.
