Fresh from supporting All Tvvins on their Irish tour, hotly tipped pop-rockers Somebody’s Child have shared the video for their latest single Jungle,which depicts a dystopian tale of a kidnapped couple who are subjected to torture by armed children.

“Jungle to me provokes different feelings than my previous releases, such as loneliness, anguish, hurt and isolation. Its message is clear. It is a reflection of the times we are living in. We have political and economic facades thrown in our face everyday” explains Somebody’s Child.

“My generation feels disillusioned in its relationship with authority due to the circus going on right from the top figures down to the media broadcast in our homes. No-one seems to have any direction and this feeling is filtering into our minds. Our heads continue to focus on power, money and legacy while our planet is weak at the knees.”

Somebody’s Child are set to fly the flag for Ireland at the live launch of The Great Escape 2020 on November 13th but will return to Dublin for a show in The Grand Social on Feb 1st 2020.
