Legendary Virtuoso guitarist SLASH of Guns N Roses fame and has in part been involved with Lenny Kravitz and Slash’s Snakepit and other assorted acts over the years in the business is coming to Dublin.

He will be here on June 29th 2010 in Vicar Street for a gig to promote his first album aptly and cleverly called SLASH which hit the shops on May 7th which featured guest musicians including Ian Astbury, Chris Cornell, Rocco DeLuca, Fergie, Dave Grohl, Myles Kennedy, Kid Rock, Lemmy Kilmeister, Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Duff McKagan, M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop, and Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother.

Not a bad list of help if you ask me. Slash had this to say when asked about the new album

“The idea was really simple in the beginning,” said Slash. “These are all artists I wanted to work with – that I thought it would be amazing to do something creative and collaborative.  And I was so impressed with what everyone brought to the table.  They were all so committed to doing a good job.  And we had a lot of fun making these songs.”

Tickets go on sale for this gig on Wednesday May 12th at 9am. Tickets will be €42.40
