Sinead O’Connor to join The Don Baker Band at Marlay Park

Further updates for those of you travelling to see Van Morrison and Tom Jones.

As you know, Bobby Womack is unable to play for health reason and The Don Baker Band have stepped in to fill the void left. They have been recording a new album and Sinead has been recording tracks with them for that. So if you’re down in Marlay Park you will get the chance to see The Don Baker Bands new material with Sinead O’Connor in toe.

We can’t imagine they’ll get to bring Sinead everywhere they go so this might be a one off chance to see the material performed as recorded. That said the album is to be a massively Irish stars affair with Damien Dempsey, Brian Kennedy, Declan O’Rourke, Mick Pyro and John Spillane all joining in on the fun.

The gig is on Saturday 25th August in Marlay Park with tickets costing €49.50 inclusive of booking fee.
