Shelley Bukspan the voice behind Mack McCabe’s smash hit Maniac 2000 looks set to step out of the shadows and take centre stage with her forthcoming album ‘The Bronx Age’.
The New Yorker has assembled a high class band of Irish musicians including guitarist Ray Boyle (The Ultra Montanes) and producer Stephen O’Brien (Hal). The album’s lead single Happy features in the upcoming film Blue Iguana which stars Oscar-winner Sam Rockwell.
And new single Blues further showcases Bukspan’s vocal talent in a rich track reminiscent of Led Zeppelin and James Bond themes of yore.
