Ahead of the release of their second album ‘Where I Should End’, on June 25th, Derry’s Saint Sister have announced a show in the Olympia Theatre, Dublin this November. News of the fully seated live show is accompanied by the arrival of new track Manchester Air which was written around the time of the Eight Amendment referendum in Ireland.
Gemma Doherty and Morgana MacIntyre recorded ‘Where I Should End’ with Ri?an Trench in The Meadow, Co. Wicklow, before mixing it in Berlin with Benedikt MacIsaac
“Where I Should End is all about trying to pin down something that can’t be held, trying to delineate yourself from the people around you, from what’s happening to you, from what you’re doing and I guess realizing that it’s all one big loop,” explains Morgana MacIntyre. “I end where I begin again, and so does Gemma, and does everybody else. We’re all just trying to exist in the same world, trying to cope, trying to dream. Sometimes not coping, sometimes not dreaming, mostly just going forward.”
You can listen to Manchester Air and all of the other tracks released from ‘Where I Should End’ to date below. Saint Sister play the Olympia Theatre Dublin on November 28th 2021. Tickets priced €29.90 on sale June 1st at 10AM via Ticketmaster.ie
