Ryanair gives Rory Gallagher the blues

Donegal singer-songwriter formerly of The Rev’s (who had hits like ‘Wired to the Moon’ and a cover of ‘Turning Japanese’ and ‘Death of a DJ’) is currently working on his second solo release which looks set to be acoustic. He also should have a single release in April entitled ‘Viva Lanzarote‘ with Sharon Shannon. This would be the follow up to the successful debut album ‘God Bless The Big Bang‘

However he has released a demo of a new track which he has entitled ‘Ryanair Blues‘ which is garnering a giggle across the media spectrum with stations giving it a spin starting in Cork 96FM, 2FM, Today FM and BBC Ulster.

The track is a humorous depiction of a trip to Lanzarote where Rory is currently basing himself, taken on Ryanair. It is available to download for free via the Vox Pop Media website, Just click HERE to get the song.
