One time staples of American radio Rubyhorse are back with I Wanna Get Lost after a decade plus hiatus from recording.

The boys from Cork released several the Billboard top 20 songs such as Sparkle in the early ‘00s and found themselves on tour with the likes of REM, Def Leppard, Culture Club, Cheryl Crow and INXS; making television appearances with David Letterman and Conan O Brien, and recording with George Harrison of The Beatles.

Despite several successful singles Rubyhorse had an unhappy relationship with US labels, first exiting Interscope unhappy with the standard of their album that would never see the light of day. They went the independent route and following the successful release of an album they could stand behind they piqued the interest Dr Dre’s business partner Jimmy Iovine, signing to Island Def Jam where they would go on to release 3 top 20 Billboard Chart singles, including signature track Sparkle, before once again going the independent route.

Rubyhorse will follow-up I Wanna Get Lost with a new album later this year.
