The Westport music festival 2013 was announced just after New Years and has confirmed a slew of top acts including Imelda May, Orquesta, Buena Vista Social Club feat Eliades Ochoa and Omara Portuondo, Blind Boys of Alabama, ABC, The Stunning, The Riptide Movement, Sharon Corr, Gavin Jamer, Julie Feeney, Cry Before Dawn, In Their Thousands and Elvis Costello.
The festival will run this year on Saturday June 29th and Sunday June 30th, 2013, at Westport House, Westport, Co.Mayo. Tickets are €75 for a day pass or €130 for a weekend pass. The latest announcement comes in the form of the Roisin Dubh announcing they will be hosting a stage at this years festival and it will including some top Irish acts.
Kicking off the announcements for this stage are some strong names, Le Galaxie, Delorentos, The Funeral Suits, Daithí, Elaine Mai, Squarehead, Kid Karate, Spook Of The Thirteenth Lock, Sleep Thieves, Mojo GoGo, So Cow, Dott, The Depravations, Doghouse, Stephen James Band are all confirmed with many more to be added in the run up to the festival.
