The grand masters of funk are back and in anticipation of the new album “I’m With You” they have announced a series of gigs to create even more of a build up.
I actually can’t remember a time I haven’t seen the Chili’s in anything other than a MASSIVE field like Slane or Phoenix Park so to see them announce a gig in The O2, Dublin means catching them in a smaller, better sounding venue which should make for a cracking show.
The new album will come out on August 26th and then they will be out on tour starting on November 4th in Dublin before a trio of dates in London, then Glasgow, Manchester twice, Sheffield and a double in Birmingham.
It should be noted that this will be our first time catching them without John Frusciante who has been replaced with Josh Klinghoffer. Opening on the tour for them will be Fool’s Gold.
