Raidió na Life – a station synonymous with promoting new up-and-coming Irish music – and earlier this year named ‘Radio Station of the Year’ at the international Celtic Media Awards is ar mun na muice to be returning to Stradbally Co. Laois this year to bring Gaeilgeoirí and music aficionados alike the best of what Electric Picnic 2013 has to offer an deireadh seachtaine seo as they broadcast three shows from the Mindfield Area of the eclectic féile or festival.
The Dublin community station is heading down to Electric Picnic to broadcast from the Puball Gaeilge in the Mindfield Area with a programme jammed with musicians, artistes and fun reports. You can catch the likes of Kíla, Pearse McGloughlin, Colm Mac Con Iomaire, Seo Linn, Sibeal Davitt and comedian Kevin McAleer. Kevin will even be trying to perform an entire comedy set in Irish.
‘Beo ón bPicnic Aibhléiseach’ will air between 8 – 9pm on Friday 30th August and the other broadcasts will air between 2 – 3pm on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September.
