Radio-Nova-1Radio Nova has been granted a temporary pilot programme licence by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland enabling it to broadcast outside the Dublin commuter belt for only the second time.

The three-week licence will see Radio Nova broadcast as ‘The Rock’ in Cork, Limerick, Galway, Kilkenny, Waterford and North Meath/Louth, including Drogheda and Dundalk from September 14th.

Radio Nova hope that this second trial will eventually lead to the station being granted a permanent national licence as a commercial radio station.

The station will release its list of FM frequencies over the coming days on its website.
