After 8 weeks of deliberations amongst the seventy five judges from Ireland and the UK, the Irish radio shortlist for the PPI Radio Awards 2013 has been announced.
The PPI Radio Awards, sponsored by PPI and the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland was established 13 years ago to acknowledge and reward the excellent contribution of writers, broadcasters, producers, presenters, reporters and technicians all working within the field of Irish radio. This year a record number of entries was received this year – in excess of 600 – from almost every station broadcasting on the island of Ireland.
The winners will be announced at the PPI Radio Awards Gala night in the Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny on Friday 4th October.
