Seminal alt-rock outfit Pixies will celebrate their 40th anniversary next year with a tour of Europe performing in some of their favourite venues including Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre. The line-up will consist of founding members Black Francis, Joey Santiago and David Lovering, with bassist Emma Richardson.

The Boston formed act will reissue “The Purple Tapes” which captured the band’s explosive early energy this October 2025 ahead of the tour which will see the band perform music from all four corners of their career.
