Pillow Queens are back with ‘Suffer’ the first glimpse into the band’s third act. Produced by Collin Pastore (boygenius, Lucy Dacus, illuminati hotties) ‘Suffer’ sees the quartet dig in darker musical territory than ever.

Lyrically ‘Suffer’ sees the group going to the mattresses, refusing to yield against all odds for love and family. “We wrote it in the depths of winter at our rehearsal studio in Dublin, and the cold really penetrates the song.”

Despite the bleakness of the imagery, the us-against-the-world defiance contained within ‘Suffer’ gives the track a prevailing sense of hopefulness. If ‘Suffer’ is an indication of where Pillow Queens are going next we are in for a treat.

The quartet are currently on tour in Europe and are set to return home for as yet unannounced Irish live dates in 2024.
