Pillow Queens have announced details of their new album ‘Leave The Light On’ which is set for release on April 1st on Royal Mountain Records.  The ten-track album, their first since joining the prestigious Canadian label is previewed by new single Be By Your Side. In the age of Yellowjackets it’s appropriate that the video directed by Kate Dolan explores feelings of trepidation and uncertainty of ‘what’s next?’ in a high school setting.

“This song is about the mechanisms that are used to hide your vulnerabilities and carry on,” explains singer/bassist Pamela Connolly. “But also, the feeling of being about to burst and how cathartic it could be to allow yourself to let your emotions out and feel the world around you. This was one of the first songs we finished on the album as it was the quickest to become fully realized by all of us.”

The Dubliners have announced a North American tour commencing with a performance at SXSW in March, Following the 17-date stint state-side, the group will tour the UK throughout April – May and after some European festival dates they will return home for 8 Irish shows in October including 2 dates in Vicar Street. Support on the Irish dates will come from Brighton duo Arxx. See full tour details artwork and album tracklisting below the video for Be By Your Side.
