Award-winning pianist Máire Carroll exchanges the concert platform for the cinema on June 29th as she performs in the Lighthouse cinema for a one-night-only special event. Máire will be playing some of her favourite film music, including material by Oscar-winning composers Philip Glass, Michael Giacchino and Ennio Morricone, film-score favourites such as ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and ‘Groundhog Day’ (which features Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini) plus many more.

Máire says: “Music is a crucial element to any film and I couldn’t be more excited to perform at the iconic Lighthouse Cinema. This is a brilliant opportunity to highlight some of the most beautiful and powerful piano film music and to bring an audience on this thrilling journey. There is something here for everyone to enjoy.”

Máire’s Lighthouse Cinema performance will include special guest performers and she will also premiere new music specially composed for the evening.
