Bob Geldof walked onstage in Vicar Street to be met with shouts of “Go on Grandad.” The former Boomtown Rats front man (and the driving force behind Live Aid) performed a mix of his solo work, along side older Rats numbers for the crowd in Vicar Street.
We sent our resident Boomtown Rats fan, Kieran Frost along with his camera. He wasn’t disappointed.
