One of Ireland’s most prominent composers Patrick Cassidy has confirmed the world premiere of his brand new live production The Road Home will take place in Dublin’s 3Arena this November.

This concert will feature music from all chapters of Cassidy’s spectacular career with solo singers Lisa Gerrard (the voice of Gladiator), rising Irish star Sibeál, Briocán Baireád, and Irish mezzo-soprano Anne Marie Gibbons plus more guests to be announced. And acclaimed Irish conductor David Brophy will share the podium with Patrick for this special evening.

Cassidy emerged as one of Ireland’s foremost composer with the release of The Children of Lir, the BBC subsequently produced a documentary reflecting this seminal work.

Cassidy resides in Los Angeles where in addition to his concert work and compositions, he scores and collaborates on film and documentary projects. Notable credits include Hannibal, Veronica Guerin,  King Arthur, Layer Cake, Che Guevara and Kingdom of Heaven.

The Road Home with The Orchestra of Ireland and the New Dublin Voices Choir, featuring Lisa Gerrard, Sibeál, Briocán Baireád, Anne Marie Gibbons, Julian Hubbard, David Brophy plus more to be announced.
