Nokia Live Stage

Today we’ve been sent news about what you can expect to keep you entertained when the music isn’t your type of thing. First off The Nokia Live Stage will be there featuring the largest ever HD (100 square foot mobile HD screen) screen to keep campers entertained with a full 3D visual show, lots of DJ’s, a Festival TV channel, and 3D VJ Pioneers, NOVAK. The pink pamper beauty salon will keep you looking your best. 3D Disco will feature Friday and Saturday night’s with 3D Glasses available from the Pop up stores on Grafton Street on Friday July 2nd or pop up locations around the Oxegen Festivals. Festival TV will be like a Video Jukebox of bands playing Oxegen to whet your appetite.

Nokia also have “Apps for Oxegen” which is an essential selection of festival related apps. Available through Nokia’s OVI Store. There will even be an app for the Video Jukebox on Festival TV so you can chose a pick straight from your Phone. Festival TV will also have Highlights from Oxegen, Interviews and live performances.

From 10pm each night from Thursday, Nokia presents full Visual DJ sets from the likes of MTV’s Eclectic Method, 3D Disco, Arveene & Misk, thesmokeeaters, Dave Davin, Brian Maher, JB the Deejay, Lorcan Mak & Propaganda DJs.

The Pink Pamper

This year there will be The Pink Pamper Hair and Beuty Salon exclusively to Blue Campsite patrons. Hair treatments and Beauty treaments available over the weekend. Promising Glam at afforable prices. You can get Rockaholic styled hair from them, or if you prefer to do it yourself, you can rent a GHD. Find the Pamper Salon between the Silent Disco and the 24 hour convenience store. Silent Disco

The Silent Disco will bring aural pleasure to 2,500 festival goers start ing on Thursday night and running every night of the festival. Clubbers will be given a set of wireless headphones and two separate DJ’s broadcast to them live via dedicated FM channels. Therest of us can stand back and marvel as the surreal spectacle unfolds!

Each night they’ll have a running order of genres competing on each channel, eg: Classic rock anthems Vs Ultimate Dance classics, The Best of Irish Rock Vs The best of British rock, RnB Vs Ultimate 80’s. The Silent Disco tent will also host a range of great entertainment during the day.

Fans can also try out their best Riverdance moves with The Quiet Ceili on Saturday and Sunday. Hosted by the Cos Cos Dancers, fans can choose between a Ceili or a Trad session. On Saturday and Sunday afternoon, fans can settle down in the tent and watch their favourite films, undisturbed by what’s going on around them. Whether you’re a fan of Rom Coms or Thrillers, this is the perfect way to chill out!

On Sunday the tent will open at 12 noon for ‘Mass’ – 4 hilarious episodes of Father Ted. Down with that sort of thing!

The Tribute Stage

The Tribute Stage will be open every night of Oxegen 2010 including some of their your favourite bands covered including Knights of Leon, Antartic Monkeys, Stone Roses Experience, Man in the Mirror and much more.

Campsite Funfair

Up for a thrill, well then maybe two of europes largest traveleing slingshots with masts of 45 metres might get the blood flowing reaching up to 160 kph!. Other items include boosters and Ferris wheel. If you need a break from the Music, The funfair could be just the refresher you need.
