Fontaines D.C. have been going from strength to strength since the release of sophomore album ‘A Hero’s Death’. Having secured Grammy and Brit Award nominations as well as a musical guest spot on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon – The Irish five-piece will return to the national broadcaster for an Other Voices performance recorded in Kilmainham Gaol.

The one-off special episode will also feature a never before seen interview with the band.

“On July 14th last year a remarkable gig took place behind the walls of Kilmainham  at the height of lockdown as part of the Other Voices Courage series,” says Other Voices founder Philip King of the performance.

“The Gaol was the perfect location for this heroic music, echoing its turbulent past with energy and passion. It was a unique and inspiring performance.”

The full performance will be broadcast on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player at 11pm on 8 April, 2021.
