othervoices178The Other Voices 2013 show in Derry on the 8th/9th and 10th of February as part of the City of Culture 2013 celebrations has confirmed it’s lineup. Moving north from Dingle, taking the show on the road to The Glassworks.

Joining the lineup are Beth Orton, James Yorkston and an act who only just blew a crowd away in The Button Factory, Daughter. Like Dingle in December, Derry will be seen and heard across the world via social media and online streams. Other Voices will continue on the road when it heads to the east end of London in April. The main Derry lineup looks as below.

Friday 8th February – Damien Dempsey, Savages, Soak, Neil Hannon

Saturday 9th February – Bronagh Gallagher, Jesca Hoop, Marina and the Diamonds, Little Green Cars

Sunday 10th February – Beth Orton, Daughter, James Yorkston, Two Door Cinema Club.

The IMRO Other Room will be filmed at Memorial Hall and is set to feature acts like The Riptide Movement, Geroge Erza, Katharine Philippa, Ryan Vail and Best Boy Grip among the acts already confirm. You can still apply for the next hour until 12 midday today 28th January, so last minute applications -> GO!

The Banter Salon as hosted by Jim Carroll will head to Derry aswell, featuring discussion and performances through Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free. Head to www.thisisbanter.com for more.
