On Wednesday 4th September 2013 at 8pm the acclaimed Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and its newly appointed Chief Conductor Vasily Petrenko will open the National Concert Hall’s 13/14 International Concert Series, which features over 20 concerts by world class musicians, orchestras and ensembles.

They hit Dublin immediately after two sell-out shows at the BBC Proms and will feature the ever-popular Finlandia by Sibelius, Symphony No. 1, Op. 13 in G minor by Tchaikovsky and Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor, played by Norwegian pianist Christian Ihle Hadland.
