No it’s not a band name it’s an event, an office party for those without employment to try bring a bit of light at the end of the unemployment tunnel this Christmas.

A free event for unemployed people to come, have fun, games, cheesy music, potential mistletoe moments of an office party at one of Dublins newest venues and next years host of the Digital Socket Awards, The Grand Social.

They will be asking people to dress up in their finest 9-5 wear which depending on where you work may include a Christmas Jumper and dodgy lights (I know I’ll be wearing such into work sometime this week). There will be live bands and DJ’s including ‘Till Death Do Us Party’ playing on the night. It will be held on Monday 20th December, doors at 8pm till late and entrance is FREE for the unwaged (proof required).

There will be dancing contests, Christmas crackers, mistletoe, limbo, pass the parcel, a secret santa for anyone who brings a wrapped present (handmade or costing less than €5). If your out of work and looking for a night to look forward to then definitely stick this on your calendar.
