In this week’s episode of the Mabcast Dylan and Jack were joined by Nonzus Magnus.
Having made waves with his 2018 ‘Rage + Chill’ EP, Nonzus has frequently released cuts blending RnB, house and hip hop while simultaneously maintaining a thoroughly punk attitude. Dropping a number of eclectic singles this year including the collaborative effort ‘Outta Love’ with Ama, the Dublin artist is gearing up to take everything he has learnt in his journey this far into 2020.
Talking about his self-sufficiency and how he is transitioning his creative process to be more collaborative, he cites ‘Fight Club’ as proof of his change in approach. Taking inspiration not only from Tyler Durden’s antics, Nonzus discussed his love of film and how he draws from different mediums to create an immersive world.
Asserting his believe in his process, Nonzus notes the importance of taking time to perfect the execution, reminding the listener about the value in one’s legacy.
