The second No Place Like Dome festival will take place this coming June 19th and 20th, They seem to have been rather quiet as we hadnt heard anything about the lineup until an intrepid reader pointed it out. So hopefully this post will bring people up to speed on the event.
No Place Like Dome is a community driven gathering of like minded people. The festival has a lineup of acts performing for the love of performing with the aim to bring smiles to everyone and foster a community spirit. You are encouraged as a stranger to try become part of the weekend. There is nothing on sale so the whole weekend is based on gifting to randomers and sharing or bartering of types.
The festival is held in Sligo in the Temple house estate. Roughly 2 hours from Dublin and a 30 min drive from Sligo town. Tickets for the event is €79.50.
On the weekend in question there will be Hot Sprockets, The Last Tycoons, Jupe, Bocs Social, Autobahn, Scarecrow Disco, Miracle Bell, Funzo, Saccade, Hitman Lord, Clockwork Noise, The Looks, Fred and Bob, The Angelus, Neptune City, DC Tempest, Citizen, Fiach, Press Play on Tape, Lisa Mcloughlin, NC Lawlor, Fox E.- Eimear Fox and Band, Tolka, Bardoi, Martelo Band, John Byrne, Mick Heslin, White Noise and Hemlock, Kinky Cabaret
