Saint and sinner Paddy Casey will be playing Whelans at the end of the month for an intimate headline show. After a five year hiatus, Paddy Casey returns with his fourth album The Secret Life Of on November 9th.

The gig will take place on Friday 24th May 2013 with tickets to the show costing €15 inclusive of booking fee and available to buy online from Wavtickets.ie.

The Cabin Collective

A brand new nine piece Galway based rock band, which features some members of The Saw Doctors are to  play their debut headline Dublin show next month.

They come east to Dublin on June 27th 2013 to play Whelans for their maiden Dublin voyage. Tickets for the show are priced at €17.50 inclusive of booking fee and tickets are on sale from Ticketmaster.ie and outlets nationwide.

The band’s first live gig was on The Late Late Show last week, swiftly followed by 2 sell out shows in The Taibhearc in Galway.

Retro Revival presents

Retro Revival rides again with another show in Sweeneys on Saturday 11th May 2013.

On the billing this time are vintage power punk acts The #1s  with support from When Good Pets Go Bad,  Cryboys and The Pulpit & Faux Kings. Admission for the show is just €5 on the night and doors are at 9pm until 2.30am.

Walking On Cars launch EP

Walking On Cars are set to launch ‘As We Fly South’ in Whelans on 20th June 2013. They will release their single ‘Two Stones’ on Friday 14th June just a week ahead of the EP.

Tickets to the show on June 20th are €10 and are available from Whelanslive.com. Support on the night will come from Neon Wolf and Ríona.
