Drunken Lust Records have a night on Friday March 8th presenting Gaz LeRock’s new band, which means it’s something you probably need in your life.
The gig features Hot Colossus, The Holy Sparks and Turtlemeyer make up the three band showcase in Thomas House on March 8th. Doors are at 8.30pm and admission is just €5.
Expect a night of rock and roll and mayhem.
LAU
Much lauded live act, LAU will be back in Whelan’s again on Saturday 1st June 2013.

Steve Kelly Big Band
If you’re looking for a night of something a bit different, The Steve Kelly Big Band are to play a headline show playing the music of Buddy Rich (billed as ‘The Worlds Greatest Drummer’).
The show is on Tuesday 26th February 2013 in The Sugar Club and will see the Steve Kelly Big Band take on the music of one of the most populr big bands of all time. Swing, Rock and Funk will be the order of the night and if you know the Sugar Club then you will be as intrigued as to how they will fit their 17-piece big band on stage.

Just No
Tallaght based pop-rock band Just No are releasing their new single upstairs in Whelan’s on March 15th 2013.
The single is called ‘Where You Come From’ and will be launching their first single following up on a support slot with The Last Waltz to a sold out Olympia Theatre. Tickets for the show are on sale now and are available for just €5.

Tommy Womack
Tommy Womack will be busting out the bluesy / country rock tunes down at JJ Smyths on Tuesday 19th February.
You can expect tunes like ‘Camping On Acid’ and ‘Fish Stick Day’ from his old band’s material Government Cheese as well as plenty of his own tunes. Ben Reel will be joining him, doors at 8pm and it’s down in the great music pub, JJ Smyths.
The Choir Invisible Band
Jangly indie pop tuned of The Choir Invisible will be down in The Thomas House on Tuesday February 28th 2013.
Support on the night comes from The Pulpit and The Retronauts and doors are at 9pm. Admission on the night will only cost you €5 if you’re dropping down for some new music.
