Culture night saw it debut and now The Fractal experience will be on tour with Philip Lawson. The concerts feature five new pieces written especially for Fractal aiming to showcase the experimental sounds in using a guitar in new ways. It also shows off simple and contemplative pieces and exciting rhythmic studies.

It will be in the Centre for Creative Practices on 9th November 2012 and then The Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar on 16th January 2013.

Gigonometry new monthly showcase

Gigonometry.com is a group to help people struggling to find people to attend gigs with by linking these like minded people. They now step out from behind the keyboard themselves to launch a new monthly showcase gig that will take place in the Gypsy Rose Bar the last Friday of every month.

October’s lineup features The Ours, Dem Fools, Cassia and Milo, Colour The World all playing on Friday 26th October. Admission is €7 or €5 to Gigonometry members and doors are 8.30pm.

Mixtapes From The Underground

Mixtapes From The Underground, a live, improvised Hip-Hop collective based in Dublin will descend upon The Workmans Club on Saturday 3rd November 2012. They will be joined on the night by special guest Gretta Gunn.

Yes Sir Boss

Horn led beats and rhythms are the staple of Yes Sir Boss and they will dropping those beats and giving you the rhythm this November.

They just released their debut album ‘Desperation State’ on October 8th and now will play The Mercantile on Friday 23rd November. Tickets are €10 inclusive of booking fee available from WAVTickets.ie. Doors at 8pm.

Koreless, Pangaea & Frank B in the Button Factory

Triple header of electronic, dance and dubstep in The Button Factory at the start of November.

20 year old Bangor based gent Lewis Roberts is the man behind Koreless, and he will be joined by Pangaea and Frank B on the night of Saturday 3rd November 2012 in The Button Factory.

Garr Cleary Debut Single

Garr Cleary is nearly set to release his debut E.P. ‘Goodbye to YeahMan’ on November 1st. It’s due to be released digitally on iTunes, Deezer and Spotify that day with an E.P. launch in Doyles on the same day.

The gig will be at 8pm with special guests on the night upstairs in the D’Olier Street venue. The first song off the EP, Waves, is streaming below

The Joinery pre-Halloween gig

Tasty lineup just before Halloween in The Joinery over in Stoneybatter.

On the lineup is Hands Up Who Wants To Die, Riastradh and Samuel Becket’s Broadband Connection. The gig is in The Joinery of Stoneybatter, Dublin 7 on Saturday 27th October. It’s €8 for admission and doors are at 8pm. So remember all the 8’s. Oh and it’s BYOB (Bring Your Own Beers)

You Kiss By The Book at Stags Head Raw

This week down in The Stags Head for their weekly musical endeavour Stags Head Raw, they have got You Kiss By The Book launching their new album, “Family Tree”. The gig is on Sunday 21st October and admission is €6 on the door or €10 if you want a copy of ‘Family Tree’ too.

The Plea – Staggers Anthem

Donegal rock merchant’s The Plea have also just released a brand new video for their single Staggers Anthem out Friday November 2nd. It’s the latest single to be lifted from their debut album ‘Dreamers Stadium’.

The Plea will be hitting the road on tour with Snow Patrol later this year.
