A late addition to the Sligo Live 2012 lineup is Bell X1who will be playing in Hawks Well Theatre on Sunday 28th October 2012. Tickets for the show are €28 inclusive of booking fee and available from sligolive.ie.
THE MINUTES
Top draw rockers The Minutes have tagged on a bunch of dates to their tour and will be here, there and everywhere in December. The dates that matter are as follows. They are playing Arthurs Day in at least one venue of the Grand Social. That’s the closest Irish date to us.
November 30th will see The Nerve Centre play host to The Minutes in Masons, Derry. More dates are below including Mullingar, Dublin, Cork, Belfast, Dundalk and Limerick. The gap in the tour dates is when they head over to the U.K. for a few shows.

The Young Folk
Busy times for The Young Folk, their self-titled EP is out now on iTunes and some outlets listed on their website. They have just played Valentia Isle fest and Cork and now look forward to Spirit of Folk Festival this weekend before heading to Sweden for a tour.
Not to worry though, by the end of September they will be back in Ireland and have plotted a November show in Whelans on the 16th to celebrate their returns. Tickets for the Whelan’s show are on sale now.

LAURA SHEERAN
The lovely Laura Sheeran released her new video single yesterday, we’re a day behind but of course we had to share it with you. We were gutted to miss Laura at the Paul McCloone Meteor Live Sessions but heard all involved were quality.
It’s a track called ‘Into The Fire’ and is as haunting as we have come to expect from Laura. It’s a lovely track so do give it a listen. Your PC is not haunted, we swear.
